March 12, 1934 – June 24, 2017

Ed had a lifelong career as a painting contractor, first working with his father as a young man and onward until his retirement 65+ years later. Ed always took great pride in his workmanship which took him to all areas of Saskatchewan. His fondest memories were working in the northern communities. During his retirement, he continued to work as a commissionaire where he enjoyed meeting new friends. Through the years, Ed enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, lake time and holidays with family and friends. His family and friends could always count on Ed’s quick wit and jokes to keep them laughing. Ed was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Elizabeth Dodge; his daughter Barbara Ann Beatrice Dodge and his sisters Irene, Audrey, Eunice, Dorothy and Betty. Ed will be fondly remembered by his wife of almost 65 years, Peggy: his sister Joyce (Neville) Piggott, his children Ed (Pat); Ken; Peggi-Lynn; Don (Veronica); Derek (Shelley); grandchildren; great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Michelle Bonneau; brothers-in-law Don Sykes; Ken Burkosky and Ray Hunter as well as many other family members and friends. In lieu of other tributes, donations can be made to the Barbara Dodge Memorial Scholarship Fund for Foster Children. S6V 6G1. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, Sk. Interment will be held at a later date.
