Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family on June 28th at the age of 65, after a long battle with Picks Disease. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Catherine Boland, brother Pat, brother's-in-law Derrick Hawkins and Melvin Power. Left to mourn and cherish her memory, children Rodney (Jennifer), Barry (Dana), Beverly Davis (George), Christa (Ches Davis); grandchildren: Lucas and Jillian Power, Caitlin Kavanagh, Michael, Nicholas and Samantha Power, Brayden Davis, Chelsea and Ciara Davis, great-grandson Jensen Kavanagh, brothers: Jimmy (Phil), Ramie (Linda), Wilfie (Mary) Clarence (Carmel); sisters: Josephine Power, Betty Hawkins, Madonna O'Keefe (Johnny), and a large circle of nieces and nephews, family and friends including special friend Nath Nichol. A special Thank you to the staff at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home where Rosie spent the last 9 Years of her life, for their care and compassion. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Visitation Friday June 30th from 12-9p.m., Saturday July 1st 11:00a.m.-12:30p.m. Funeral to take place from Immaculate Conception Church, Calvert at 1:00p.m. July 1st. Internment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Ferryland. To Celebrate Rosie's life a reception will be held at Calvert Hall following the service. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Autism Society.
