1928 – 2017
Ladd, Walter Ronald, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on July 4, 2017. He was the son of the late Walter Ladd and Lois (Graham), and step son of Ernest McCaw. Walter is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn (Grigg); children, Cheryl (Garfield) Ganong, Trina Ladd and the late Kelli Ladd; grandchildren, Kyle Robinson, Cheyenne Ladd, Caiya Jowett-Ladd, Ryan, Joel, Grayden, Roghan Ganong; four great grandsons; brothers, the late Wendell Ladd (Juanita), Bill (Carole) McCaw; parents in law, the late Lorne and Olive Grigg; brothers and sisters in law, the late Lorna and Herman Yeo, Elwell and Muriel Grigg, Ivers and Lorraine Grigg, Sandra and Ivan Baglole, the late Billy Grigg (Janice), Gaylene and Claude Robinson, Barry Grigg and many nephews and nieces. Walter lived in Maugerville, Saint John, Lewisville, Summerside and Moncton. He began his working career with his stepfather at E. McCaw and Son, then travelled for H. J. Heinz for thirty years until his retirement. Walter enjoyed the cottage in Point-du-Chene, sailing, curling at MCA, dancing, time with family and friends, U.C.T., Air Force Veterans Club and “shooting the breeze."
