On April 11, 2011 surrounded by his family, Emery Richard of Drayton Valley, Alberta formerly of Saint John, New Brunswick passed away peacefully at the age of 53 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; son, Christopher (Jessica) Richard and their daughter, Olivia; daughter, Nicole (Jarett) Fischer and their daughter, Maria all of Drayton Valley; parents, Armond and Alice Richard of Saint John, New Brunswick; five siblings, Shirley, Roger, Sheila, Arnold (Kathy), Gary (Wendel); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 7:00 pm at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Drayton Valley with the Funeral Mass to take place at St. Anthony’s on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 11:00 am with Father Christian Nwaigwe officiating.
