It is with great sadness a devoted father, husband and brother of 84 years passed away on July 7, 2017, John Bruce Yeo. Born to Lela (Dixon) and Bruce Yeo on November 5, 1932 in Souris, P.E. He leaves to mourn his spouse Ruth, (MacCallum) children, Melva O'Connor-Rafuse (Errol), Jayne Yeo (Shawn),and Jason Yeo(Carolyn). He is survived by his sisters Ruth Frederick and Anne Carroll: predeceased by sisters Arlene Martin and Hazel MacLaren (Blair), and brothers -in-law Ray Frederick and Dick Carroll. John adored his grandchildren, Derek MacConnell, Jill, Jack, Peter, Sally, Juliet and Alice. He is missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and students of his teaching years! John was a leader and motivator for all. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, July 10, at Hillcrest United Church at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the Community Park Cemetery. Donations to the Montague Food Bank or the Humane Society would be appreciated.
