NICKERSON, Leslie Flint, of Ballston Lake, NY, died on Monday July 11, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on July 11, 1930, the son of the late Ivan L. and Gertrude M. (Lewis) Nickerson, and step-mother Hazel (Cain) Nickerson of Chebogue. He was educated in Canada and worked in Canada and the United States as a Chemist. He retired from the Albany International Corporation in 1996. Leslie is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Catherine Davidson Nickerson and their children Sarah Nickerson and Franklin (Michele) Nickerson. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter, Amelia Nickerson. Leslie's ashes were interred in the Arcadia Cemetery family plot on July 15th at 12:30pm and family and friends were welcomed to join.
