We, the family, announce the passing of our brother, Daniel P. ‘Danny’ Keough on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born August 24, 1954 in Sydney, he was the son of the late Maurice and Edie (Townsend) Keough.
Danny was actively involved with the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 12, Sydney and the French Club.
He is survived by his sisters, Shirley (Reg) Samson, Gloria (Paul) Norman and Catherina Keough-Pendergast; brothers, Ken (Janet), Rick and Fred (Cheryl); sister-in-law, Catherine Keough (the late Andrew); nieces, nephews and stepfamily of the late stepfather, Wilfred Hawco.
Danny was predeceased by his brother, Andrew; nephew, Stephen, and brother-in-law, Gordon Dalton.
As per Danny’s request, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date.
