Effie Kay Williams, of Sydney, passed away July 17, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Elsie Matheson.
She is survived by her son, Graham (Betty); grandchildren, Matthew and Michael, and great grandchildren, Sam, Jack and Lily.
Effie was predeceased by her husband, Charles, and sister, Georgie.
To allow family from away to attend, a graveside service will take place Wednesday, July 26 at 2 p.m. at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
