Mary F. Pearl, 94, of Havenside Road, Louisbourg, passed away peacefully July 16, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. She was a resident of MacGillivary Guest Home, Sydney, NS.
Born in Louisbourg, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Sadie Crooks. Mary is survived by her sister Ada; daughters, Stella Hickman, Sydney, Mary MacDonald (Walter), Ada MacQueen (Parker), Louisbourg, Helen Stewart and Patsy Khan (Maurice), Ontario. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, William Pearl; sons, Charlie and Arthur; daughter, Myrna; sister, Avis; brother, Charlie, and great granddaughter, Jessica.
Visitation will take place 1-2 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2017 at United Church in Louisbourg. A memorial service will take place immediately following at 2 p.m., with Rev. Emily Duggan to officiate. Internment to take place in Harbourview Cemetery.
