It is with great sadness, that the family of John David Rudolph, of Pictou, announces his passing in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow after his brief but valiant battle with cancer.
David was born February 27, 1955, the only son of Inez and John Rudolph.
He was a welder by trade and worked throughout Pictou County and at the Alberta Oil Sands in Fort McMurray. David was never happier than when he was on the water sailing.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel (Gill); daughter, Marina, Red Deer, Alberta and son, Johnathan Gill “Tigger”, Western Canada; sister, Adonna; niece, Jay and grand-nephew, Marchello, British Columbia. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Barbra Dead, Truro; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Chriss Landry, Pictou; nephews, Scott (Natalie), Wolfville; Rob (Sandy), Halifax; Brady (Ashley), Lyons Brook and their families. David was very much loved by his three little princesses, Taleah, Emily and Claire.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Friday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will take place 11 AM Saturday from Pictou United Church, reception to follow in the church hall.
