DOUMA, Bertha - Mrs. Bertha "Beppie" "Betty" Julia (nee van der Vegt) Douma passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Woodland Villa at the age of 89 years with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Eduard Douma. Loving mother of Nick (Francine), John (Rosaria), the late Wilma Todd (Tom), Jack (Lorena), Don, and Mary-Ann Jeaurond (Trevor). Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Alie and Annie of Holland. Predeceased by her parents Jozef and Wieke (nee de Vries) van der Vegt, and siblings Theo, Lenie and Bonnie. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be celebrated in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 2900 Second Street, East, Cornwall on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
