McCONKEY, Stuart Robert - Peacefully at St. Joseph's Continuring Care Centre on Monday June 26, 2017. He leaves his loving and devoted wife of almost 60 years, Kathleen (Colucci) McConkey. Dear father of Kathy (Neil), Jamie (Kelly), Scott and Lori. Sadly missed by 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsay, Kelsey, Dayton, Rebecca, Sam, Andrew and 2 great grandchildren, Sophia and Aubrey. Survived by one brother Bill McConkey, 2 step brothers Bill Rowden and Jack Rowden and one step sister, Margaret McCarthy. Also survived by his sister-in-law Marion Colucci, 3 nieces and 3 nephews and lifetime friend, Dr. Doug Mack. Predeceased by his parents, Robert Blevins and Sarah (McMaster) McConkey and 2 sisters, Dorothy Theobald and Elva Barker. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are requested to assemble at St. Columban's Catholic Church for funeral Mass on Saturday July 22, 2017 at 10am. A celebration of Stuart's Life will be held on Sunday July 23, 2017 at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club from 2pm - 4pm. Transportation is available by calling 613-360-3154 (Bill) to the Celebration on Sunday. Rite of commital at St. Lawrence Valley cemetery at a later date.
