We, the family sadly announce the peaceful passing of our dear brother, Michael Charles MacMillan on July 26, 2017.
He was born on April 28, 1957. Michael enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid scouter for many years. He was also a stationary engineer and boiler maker. Michael will be greatly missed by family and friends he had made during his life.
Michael was predeceased by both parents, Thomas. A. MacMillan and Florence (Meechan); brother, Hugh MacMillan and very special aunt, E. Frances “Fran” MacMillan.
Michael is survived by his brother, Thomas “Tommy” MacMillan and sister, Frances (MacMillan Woodland (Richard)
Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will take place on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Deacon Leo Penny officiating with burial to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 902-862-7500.
