Peacefully at her late residence on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Judie Murchison, age 72 of Ottawa, Ontario. Beloved daughter of the late John T. Murchison and the late Jean A. (Whyte) Murchison. Survived by her cherished daughter Carol Jean Watson (Paul) of St. Avit, France. Judie is survived by her loving sisters Marilyn O’Connor (late Barry) of Perth Road, ON. and Barbara Murchison of Ottawa. Predeceased by her sister Jane K. Johnston of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Lovingly remembered by her nephew Ryan, nieces Steacy (Alex) their children Jack and Anna, Alison (Rob) their children Sylas and Kallie Jane, Emily (John) and also Sista and Brother of the Heart Lana and Jasper de Groot, nephew and niece of the heart Jon de Groot and Carolyn Trepanier (Carl). Much loved by extended Murchison, Purdy and Ring families in Point Prim P.E.I. At Judie’s request there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of her Life will be held in P.E.I. at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Cityview Retirement Community for their roles in enhancing Judie’s circle of family and friends over the last 10 months of her life. As Judie was “rather fond of birds and dogs especially” those wishing may donate to the Wild Bird Care Centre or the Ottawa Humane Society.
