At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, July 29, 2017, the passing of Mary W. Christian (nee Fitzpatrick), wife of the late Jock Christian, occurred with family by her side. Born in Degros Marsh February 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Steele) Fitzpatrick. Mary will be missed by her loving children John, Joey (Pauline), Kenny, Sally (Paul) Morrison; cherished grandchildren; Michael (Mary), Jessica (Alastair) and Ryan Morrison, Erin and Mark Christian; Sister Theresa Johnston; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant sister Gladys, sister Stella (Joe); brother JD (Cecilia), Charles (Ann) and John. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Monday, July 31st from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place in the St. Georges Catholic Church, St. Georges on August 1st at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the Parish Cemetery.
