The family of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Fitzgerald would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Young and the nurses and staff of Three North of the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility for their care and compassion. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who sent sympathy and mass cards, flowers and donations to charities. We appreciate and thank Father Andrew White for leading the prayers at the funeral home and at Mount Patricia Cemetery and for officiating at the funeral mass. A special thank you to the Pallbearers, cantor Barbara Hickey, organist Sister Kay Rex, and the Choir for a wonderful service for our beloved sister. We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff of Fillatre's Funeral Home, St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook for the guidance and professional services provided to our family during this difficult time. Betty liked to travel and socialize with friends at bingo and cards. Over the years she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her good humour.
