Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at St. Clare's Hospital after an extended battle with cancer, Lena Theresa Walsh, age 70 years. Predeceased by her mother and father Florence and James; sister Ruth and daughter Julie. Leaving to mourn her husband Ron; son James; daughter Lena (Daniel); grandchildren: Christopher, Jessica, Abby and Nicholas; great-grandson Logan; sisters: Flo, Winnie and Jean; brothers: Doug, Jack, Tom, Danny and Jim; and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue Friday, August 18, 2017 from 10-12 pm, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Saturday, August 19, 2017 10-12 pm. Funeral service to be held at Barrett's Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Avenue on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2 pm. Inurnment to follow on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
