Passed peacefully away on August 2, 2009, at the age of 86. Predeceased by his wife Winnie; sister Jean Guest; brothers: Bob, Raymond and George; and parents John and Bertha. Leaving to mourn are his sons: Bob, Shannon (Trudy) and Dean (Meline); daughter Sherry; grandchildren: Robin (Miciam), Frank (Tami), Johnny, Carrie, Shannon Jr., Frankie, Kristian, Leon Jr. and Travis; great-grandchildren: Sebastian and Takara; brothers: Reginald (Joan), Norman; sisters Jessie Michelen, Dorothy Michelen and Catherine Calloway; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Ave. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
