With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Leon (Lee) Joseph Gallant, aged 59, owner/operator of A to Z Hardwood Flooring, St. Chrysostome. Leon was born on August 19, 1957, son of Sadie (nee Gallant) Arsenault and the late Belonie Gallant. Survived by mother Sadie, step–father Ernie, beloved wife Mary, sons Kevin, Chris and Robert, cherished grandchildren, Drake, Tyson and Ellie. Also survived by brothers and sisters Andy (Liette), Lucie (Bob Watson), Marie (Edgar Stewart), Barry (Jeanne), Joyce (David Watson), Randy (Kim), Mike (Annette Newlove), sister-in-law Elise Milligan (Wendell, deceased), also numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his father Belonie, brothers Wendell, Ronald and David. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Wednesday August 23, then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday, August 22, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery.
