It is with heavy hearts that the families of Sheila Madgelene Blanchard nee Payne announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Darris (Chantelle), Dale (Tyrone) and Warren (Shyanne), her mother Mrs. Maxine Payne, her grandchildren: Cordell, Jessie (Jessica), Amy and step-granddaughter Grace (Brandon), her siblings: Gray, Melina (Howard), Dwight (Elizabeth) and Delia (Scott), her special friend Glen Tobin, her brothers and sisters-in-law: Issac (Serina), Bryant (Shirley), Masie (Curtis), Wilfred (Francis), Lillian, Valarie (Gordon), Alvin (Jaunita), Meta (Gary), Ward (Geneva), Dave and Eva, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Sheila was predeceased by her husband Rufus, daughter Helen, father Basil, father and mother-in-law Johnny and Minnie, sisters-in-law Bertha and Rhodena, brother-in-law David, nephew Harold and great-niece Jenna. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Monday, August 21st, 2017, from the hours of 2-4 pm, and then visitation will take place at the St. Mary the Virgin, Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Monday, August 21st, 2017, from 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017, at 2 pm with Canon Terry Rose officiating and then keeping with Sheila wishes cremation will take place.
