Margaret Mary Moor

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margaret Mary Moor age 95 of Amherst announce her passing on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.
Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Leona (Arseneau) Landry.
During WWII Margaret worked for Canada Car in Amherst and later was employed as a supervisor with Playtex for 7 years.
She enjoyed knitting and sewing and has made many quilts.
Margaret was a life member and was very active in the Amherst 50+ club.
She is survived by son Ronald (Kathryn) Boudreau of Orwell, PE and daughter Judy Boudreau of Amherst, grandchildren Cathy, Colleen, Raoul and Christopher, great grandchildren Tyler, Kate, Maggie, Thomas, Mark, Sienna, Kenzie and Liev, one sister Josephine Belanger of Winnipeg, MB and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her first husband Rheal Boudreau, her second husband George Moor, great grandson Charles Boudreau, sisters Anita Landry, Arzalie Thibodeau, Phemie LeBlanc and Rosie Legere; brothers Blair, Earl, Alphie and Gerald.
Following Margaret’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place at a later date.
Interment will take place in the Amherst Cemetery.
Donations can be made in Margaret’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
