At the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton on Saturday, April 16, 2011, surrounded by his family, died Lionel LeBlanc of St-André-LeBlanc at the age of 66 years. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Thomas “Tommy” and Elizabeth (Roy) LeBlanc. Lionel was employed for 40 years in the house moving business. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Monique (Roland Arsenault) of St-André-LeBlanc, his son, Yves of Moncton; a sister, Marie-Mai Blaquière (Hector) of Trois-Riviève, Qc; nine brothers: Ronald (Gisèle), Archille (Jeannine), Arsène (Shirley), Rhéal (Zelma), Fernand (Gilberte) and Roger Ouellette (Angela) all of Haute-Aboujagane, Normand (Flora) of Moncton, Armand (Lise) of Baie Comeau, Henri (Yvette) of Shediac, his special friend, Rolande LeBlanc; her two children: Nadia (Sébastien) and Nathalie (Chris) and their two children: Joshua and Megan; a sister-in-law Genora LeBlanc of Shediac, a brother-in-law Arthur Richard of Moncton, many nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Noëlla (Gaudet) LeBlanc in 1998; a sister, Alice Richard, a brother, Raymond, and by three young siblings.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute-Aboujagane on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
