Vaughan Enfield Stairs, of Woodstock, NB, passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at the age of 84. Vaughan is survived by one son, Charles Stairs of Kanata, Ontario; one daughter, Alice (Bruce) Mitchell of Ottawa, Ontario; one sister, Velda Mitchell of Tennessee, USA; one grandson, Matthew of Kanata, Ontario; one granddaughter, Angela Stairs of Kanata, Ontario; and daughter-inlaw Nancy. Vaughan was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Sarah (Seavey) Stairs.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 3:00 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Otis Cemetery, Nackawic, NB at a later date.
