It is with deep sadness that the family of Darleen Wills announce her passing in Moose Jaw, on Monday, August 28, 2017, at the age of 84. Darleen leaves to mourn Harold, her husband of sixty years; her children Allen and Rhonda Wills (Regina), Kathy and Kelly Engler (Moose Jaw), and Laura and Jim Spence (Moose Jaw); her seven grandchildren Stephan (Jennifer), Patrick (Michelle), Alanna (Justin), Ross (Kristin), Sarah, Sydney & Thomas; and four great grandchildren. Other family members who are saddened by Darleen’s passing include her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Peggy Spence, and sister-in-law, Jean Hoffman. Darleen was predeceased by her parents, Ramsay and Edith Spence, an infant brother, Dennis Spence, her brother-in-law, Donald Wills, and her parent-in-laws, Charlotte and Andrew Billett. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at W.J. Jones Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca Street East, Moose Jaw. Reverend Jim Tenford will officiate. Internment at Hawarden Cemetery will take place at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of remembrance, contributions can be made to the St. Andrew’s United Church Memorial Fund (60 Athabasca Street East, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan S6H 0X5) or The Lung Association, Saskatchewan (1231 - 8th Street East, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7H 0S5). Thanks from the family to the doctors, nurses and support staff of F. H. Wigmore Hospital, Pioneer Lodge, Providence Place and Extendicare, Moose Jaw. Special thanks to Dr. Volker Rininsland, her family physician for many years. In living memory of Darleen, a memorial tree planting will be made by JONES Funeral Home.
