Olive Lorrette Garand

It is with great sadness that we announce Mom's passing on Tuesday evening August 29, 2017 at the age of 83.

Olive will be lovingly remembered by her husband Paul of 65 years, their children; Dennis (Linda), Robert (Gloria), Allan (Brenda) and Lyle (Laury).

She will also be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren; Danielle (Andrew), Ryan (Amanda), Christopher (Ingrid), Brianne (Rocky), Karlee, Joel (Arijana), Chauntel (Brent) and Kevin, 6 great grandchildren; Nolan, Caden, Teagan, Kaitlyn, Aubrey and Caleb.

Pre-deceased by her parents; Arthur and Marie Ann Robin and siblings Paul, Therese, Emilien, Lucille and Rita.
Olive would always greet everyone who visited with a friendly smile and a great sense of humor.

She was a loving wife and mother to 4 rambunctious boys.
A farm girl at heart with her youth spent riding horses and caring for animals domestic or wild. Off the farm she continued her love with pets of all kinds; cats, dogs, ducks, squirrels, crows, rabbits and everything in between.
An avid dancer, especially at the Good Shepard retirement home where she was always excited to attend dance and music functions.
Residents of the home lovingly nick named her "Cha Cha Cha".

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Marks Roman Catholic Parish (589 9 Street East, Prince Albert) on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 2:00pm with Father DJ Vu officiating.
