It is with great sadness that the family of Calvin Dale Banda announces his passing in Moose Jaw on August 30th, 2017 at the age of 39 years. Calvin will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Amber McCrystal, his nine-year-old son Kaleb, his mother Dawne Banda, his father Ralph Banda (Lillian), and his brothers Brent (Chantal) and Curtis (Lesley). Calvin will also be forever remembered by his Grandma Banda and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives. Calvin grew up in Saskatoon and was known to be a happy kid that always had a positive outlook. Calvin graduated from Mount Royal Collegiate in 1996. Calvin, Amber, and Kaleb moved to Moose Jaw in 2010. He always loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. Calvin was a great cook and loved preparing meals for friends and family. After wrestling in high school, he was an accomplished referee in the sport. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 – 4th Avenue North, Saskatoon.
