Passed peacefully away on April 16, 2011 at Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL Alma Blanche Harbin (nee Laite) of Grand Falls-Windsor. She was 83 years of age. Mrs. Harbin retired from the teaching profession in 1978 and was a member of the Retired Teachers’ of Newfoundland & Labrador. She was predeceased by husband, Victor, parents, Pastors Ralph & Louise Laite, twin daughters, Rhonda Joy and Rennie Joy and brother, Ralph Laite. Left to mourn are sons, Wayne (Susan), Victor, Derek (Roxanne), Vaughn and Albert; daughters, Charlene (Tim Van Maren) and Joy. Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Marvin Burton conducted funeral services at Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Grand Falls-Windsor April 19, 2011 with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor.
