It is with great sadness that we, the family of Bryan Charles Woodfine, announce his passing on August 30, 2017.
Born March 9, 1944, he was the son of Augustus and Margaret (Bryan) Woodfine.
Bryan was an avid Boston Bruins fan, and loved all sports.
He is survived by wife of 49 years and 8 months, Barbara (Strickland) Woodfine; sons, Brian, Sydney Mines and David (Margaret), Sydney; daughter, Margaret (John), Sydney, and grandson, Alex.
The family asks anyone attending his service to wear yellow and black to honour his favorite team.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 6 at 11 a.m. Carman United Church, 1 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines with Rev. Mick Phillips to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bryan’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
