Martinello, Charles Joseph-81, Shelburne passed away peacefully on September 5, 2017 in Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, he was a son of the late Harry and Mary Ellen (Vitesse) Martinello. Charles (Chuck) was a Master Corporal in the R.C.A.F and an administration clerk. He was a member of the National Association of Federal Retirees. After his retirement he had a deep respect for taking care of the earth. He loved his family and his favourite hobby was gardening. Chuck was known to all the kids in the neighbourhood for his bicycle repair skills. He will be remembered and missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Marquita “Marty”; daughters, Doris Martinello( Krishan), Wellesly, On; Debra Martinello-Harvey (Leander), Shelburne; brothers, Nicholas, Henry and Alex, all of Windsor, Ontario; sisters, Sandra Martinello, Los Angeles, California; Marie Martinello, Windsor, Ontario; grandchildren, Aspasia Mitchell, Shilo, Manitoba and Danique Firmin, Kitchener, Ontario. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium Ltd. A Celebration of Life, for family and friends, took place on September 11 at 6:00 pm at their home on 76 Fanning Street, Shelburne. Memorial donations may be made to PET Projects.
