It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Ria Wood announce her passing at her residence on September 13th 2017 at the age of 90 years. She will be sadly missed by her son Sonny (Jo) Patricia Rose both in Stephenville, Jackie Wood (Ossie) in Alberta, her brother Stan (Joan) O'Quinn in Cold Brook , her sister Fidele McCarson in Halifax. Also leaving to mourn her five grandchildren Laura (Jon), Scott, Colin (Marimar), Stephen (David), Leah six great-great-grandchildren Dustin, Abbey, April, Floyd, Alexa and Shaye along with a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her partner Ossie Gaudon, her brothers Lem, Bernard, Greg, Finton, sisters Donna, Zita, Clophie, Bernadette, Helen and her grandson Stewart. Visitation will take place at Russell's Funeral Home on Friday September 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Saturday September 16th at 10 A.M. from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street. Interment to take place at a later date.
