Passed peacefully surrounded by his family, after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton at the age of 78. Loving, caring husband and father, Baden was predeceased by his parents, John and Ada (Walsh) Sexton and his brother, John Charles (Andrea). He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Dorothy Catherine (McNeill). Also survived by his sister, Mary Connolly (Reginald) and his children, Valerie Lynn, Darryl Francis (Caren), Mark Andrew and Kelly Anne (Jason). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Christina and Peyton. Baden was a dedicated high school science teacher, having taught at Doaktown Consolidated High School for 27 years and in Alberton, PEI for 3 years, where he met his beloved Dorothy. He loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time at the cottage in P.E.I. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. It will be followed by the Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 a.m., also at Our Lady of the Annunciation with Father Paul Batchilder as celebrant. Interment will take place in the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Blissfield, N.B. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
