The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, September 15, 2017 of William James Holland, age 88 years, formerly of Elmira, PE. William will be greatly missed by his best friend and loving partner of 66 years Eleanor. Also to mourn his loss are children Bev Gillis (Donnie), Marie Gallant (Leonard; deceased), Doris Wakelin (Kirby), Blair (Teresa), and Jerry (Annette). Survived by brothers George (Cecile), Emeric (Helen), and sister Joyce Perry (David). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jeffery, Christopher, Nicholas, Matthew, Timothy, Kasey, Denton, Krystle, Tyler, Zach, Brianna, and Gabe. Also by 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Predeceased by daughter Charlotte Holland, and brother Artie (Helen; deceased). Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home for visiting hours Monday, September 18, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Columba Cemetery Fund, or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of William would be appreciated. www.dingwellfh.ca
