The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, September 15, 2017 of George Lewis Bernard, of O’Leary in his 85th year, beloved husband of Elma (nee Inman). George was born in O’Leary on September 18, 1932, son of the late Lewis and Dorothy (Sheen) Bernard. Loving dad to Randy (Arlene), Mill River and Susan (Sue), Cascumpec. Dear brother to Blair (Marylois), West Cape; Karol Bernard (Ralph Bulger), Dunblane and Pauline (Blair) Getson, O’Leary. George is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brother Bill, and sisters in law Eliza and Irma (Inman) LeBlanc, brother in law Wesley Inman mother and father in law Doris & Willard Inman. Resting at the Ferguson funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, private family visiting hours. There will be a public graveside funeral service on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield United Church Cemetery.
