It is with great heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Mary Catherine McNeil, 80 of Glace Bay, (formerly of New Aberdeen) on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital An Cala Unit with her loving family at her side. Ma was the daughter of late William James Morrison and Christena MacIsaac.
She is survived by children, Charlotte (Tommy), whom she resided with, Margie, Tena, Lorraine (Kevin), Roddie (Denise), Ronnie (Terri) and Donnie (Dena); two step-daughters and one step-son; sisters, Isabel MacFarlane and Bella MacEachern, and brother, Jimmy Morrison. Ma had several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she thought the world of.
In following Ma's wishes there will be no visitation or service, cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home. Family service to be held at a later date.
