Passed peacefully away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Pleasant View Towers, Dorothy E. Kenney. Dorothy was born in Conche, NL. She was a truly loving and devoted sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, John Kenney and Mary (Murphy) Kenney, brothers Brendan (Frances) and Bill (Margaret). Left with fond and loving memories are her sisters, Agnes, Beatrice (Rod), Mary (Marc, d.) and Imelda (Brian); brothers Ray (Elizabeth) and Don (Joan); many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Kenney family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during their time of bereavement. Also, at this time, we wish to express our sincere thanks to the staff of Pleasant View Towers for their loving care and support for Dorothy. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Church, Mount Pearl. Inurnment will take place at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Conche. In lieu of flowers, condolences can be given by making a donation to a charity of one's choice.
