Peacefully passed as she lived her life on Monday, October 2, 2017, at age 88. Predeceased by her husband James; infant son Richard; parents John and Annie Curlew; sisters: Gertie, Bride, Edna and Daisy and brothers: George, Edgar, Jack and Ted. Left with fond and loving memories her son John (Deborah Fry); daughters: Linda (Robert) Boehner, Melanie (Paul) Stanley and Janice; grandchildren: Vanessa (Martin Bessette), Rebecca, Lesley, Timothy (Elizabeth Fagan), Matthew, Courtney and Kyle; great-grandchildren: Theo, Claire, James and Phoebe; sister Madeline Seabright; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Admiral's Coast Retirement Centre. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Tuesday, October 3rd, from 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, October 4th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at First United Church on Thursday, October 5th, at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
