Gone with the Angels

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017, surrounded by his loving family, Daniel O'Brien, age 66 years. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Mary O'Brien and his sister Helen (George) Strugnell. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Joyce (nee Myler), son Paul, daughter Sherri (Bill) Mercer, his precious grandchildren Kyle, Bailey, Samantha and Billy, sister Patricia (Harold - deceased), as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to his niece Amanda for her continuous care and support throughout his illness. Also a special thanks to the nurses from Eastern Health and the Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
