In the presence of family, George Raymond Taylor passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on April 19, 2011, at Echo Village in B.C. George was born in Granville, P.E.I. on July 26, 1917, the only child of William and Melvina Taylor. He leaves behind his loving wife of 68 years, son Robert (Nancy) of Summerside, daughter Sandra Iwanuik (Victor) of Penticton, B.C., son Brian (Lorena) of Summerside, daughter Lois Moyle (Trevor) of Adelaide, Austrailia, daughter Joy Lloyd (Phil), daughter Cheryl Anderson (Neil), as well as 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A son, George Raymond predeceased him in 2000. The service will take place at Yates Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to Echo Village.
The family would like to say a huge thank-you to the staff at Echo for their wonderful care for George during his passing and over the past seven years.
