1922 – 2017
Thérèse Gallant, 94, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Monday October 9th, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. Born in Mont-Carmel, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Jeremie and the late Marie Pelagie (née: Pitre) Arsenault. She is survived by two daughters: May Dallaire of Dieppe and Aurore (Walter) Mitton of Wheaton Settlement; five sons: Jerry (Linda) of Quelph, ON, Léonel (late Linda) of Kitchener, ON, Alfred “Al” (Helen) of Stilesville, Gus (Ginette) of Moncton and Louis (Valerie) of Comox, BC; two sisters: Louise (Sanford) Roach of Charlottetown and Aurore (late Fidèle) Arsenault of Montréal; one brother, Joe (Zelica) of Mont-Carmel; 21 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Felix in 2007; one daughter, Anita and also by five brothers: Léonel, Léonel, Arsène, Denis and Albert. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, N.B. (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. ONLY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Friday, October 13th, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
