May Newstead of Moose Jaw passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at the age of 94. May is predeceased by her husband George and infant daughters Betty and Shirley. May is survived by her children Dave (Edith) and Marvin (Loretta); grandchildren Christina, Andrea, Natasha, Josh and Brittny; several great-grandchildren; sister Lillian Andrews; brother Irvin “Curly” Andrews as well as many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 16, 2017 at 1:30PM at W. J. Jones Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Reverend Darrell Buchanan will officiate. Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery. A great big heartfelt “Thank You” to Dr. Geyer, Dr. Tarhuni, Dr. Miller and everyone else involved in Mom’s care at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, Oxford Place and Pioneer Lodge along with all of Mom’s friends and family.
