We the family of the late Buddy Nicholson would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all family, friends, and neighbours who showed love and support during this difficult time. Thank you to all who sent flowers, cards, food, and made donations in his memory. To those who visited the funeral home and funeral, especially those who travelled to be with us, your support meant so much. Your gestures were not only comforting and appreciated, but a testimony to what a great man he was.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the ICU and Pallative Care at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Thank you to Reverend Robert Biggar, St. John’s United Church Choir, St. John’s UCW, and Da’s nieces who provided a wonderful lunch after the funeral.
Many thanks to the Honour Guards from the Port Morien Fire Department and Pallbearers John McDonald, Paul McDonald, Bobby McDonald, Ross MacDonald, Dougie Cathcart and Harvey Butts. To Diane MacLachlan who was there when Da needed you the most – Thank You!
