Roy N. Burton of Englee, a well-respected and loved member of the community, passed away at Curtis Memorial Hospital on October 7 at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife Ivy, daughter Bonnie (Terry), sons Bob (Wanda), Boyd and Trevor (Alicia); grandchildren Brandon, Adam, Andrew, Shania, Cody, Mackenzie, Stephan Burton and Ryder; great-grandchildren Kaden and Bree; brothers Wilson, Lewis, and Lorne; sisters Joyce, Elsie, Verley, Bonetta, Alice and Marilyn. He is predeceased by his parents Hayward and Priscilla (Paddock). Visitation was held at Englee Salvation Army church from 2 to 4 pm (public) 7 - 9 pm (family only) on Tuesday 10 Oct 17. Funeral service is under direction of Salvation Army ministers Bruce and Judy Giles to be held on Wednesday 11 Oct 17 at 2 pm followed with burial at Salvation Army Cemetery. A reception celebrating his life was held at the Salvation Army church following the burial for family and extended family. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
