It is with broken hearts that we announce Rob’s passing on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at home, with his parents by his side, after a brief, brave battle with cancer.
Rob was born August 17, 1961 in Sydney, NS, a son of Robert and Donna (nee Peters) Frost. He worked in the construction and trucking industry, most recently with K & P Drever Transport. He loved all sports, played minor hockey in Calgary and was a huge fan of the Flames and Stampeders. Rob was a loving son, brother and uncle; had a heart of gold, and will be greatly missed by many.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Kelly; nephews, Chris and Mitchell; niece, Madison Frost, all of Calgary; many aunts, uncles and cousins in Alberta and Nova Scotia, and his close friend, Colleen Harvey. He will also be missed by his cherished fur babies, Tasha and Sophy.
Rob was predeceased by his brother, Allen in 2001; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Katherine (nee MacNeil) Peters of Mira Road, Sydney, NS, and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Lillian (nee Stevens) Frost of Sydney Forks.
A Private Family Service will be held. A sincere thank you to Dr. Mirza, physicians, nurses and staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Center, the Palliative Care Team, the staff of K & P Transport for all their kindness and help. A special thank you to his uncle, Ralph Frost for all of his help, care and concern through Rob’s illness.
