It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stuart Kettle announces his passing at the Long Term Care Unit on October 12, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Stuart was the son of the late Wilson and Dolly (nee Buttery) Kettle. He was also predeceased by his wife Louise (nee Way) of 36 years, sister Sheila Lomond, parent-in-law James and Gertrude Way, brother-in-laws Edgar Way and Guy Annable, and sister-in-law Edna MacIsaac.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers, Nelson (Florence) Kettle, Melvin (Carolyn) Kettle, brother-in-laws Douglas Lomond, James MacIsaac, and Fred Way, sister Viola Annable, aunts Francis Kettle, Hazel Kettle, Viola Roberts, and Jane Kettle, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will be receiving visitors at East Haven Funeral Home on Friday, October 13 from 7 pm - 9 pm, and Saturday, October 14 from 10 am – 12 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Stuart's life will take place on Saturday, October 14 at 2 pm at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Port aux Basques, officiated by Rev. Harold Harvey, followed by an internment service in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Those wishing to make memorial donations may donate to St. Paul's Anglican Church, or to a charity of one's choice.
