Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 20, 2017, Catherine Lewis of Avondale in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband James, parents: Fred and Mary Ann Doyle and brother Ben (Mary). Left with loving memories are her daughter Joan Conway (Dave), son Stephen (Denise), four grandchildren: Jennifer Parsons (Randy), Andrea Aikins (Cory), Karen White (Rob), Craig (Dana), seven great-grandchildren: Timothy, Victoria, James, Luke, Avery, Nyla and Ella, nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends especially Clary and Mary Murray. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2-4 pm and Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 10:30 am with Mass of Christian Burial from Assumption Church, Avondale. Interment at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.
