Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre, John (Terry) Evans, aged 75 years. Predeceased by his father Edward, June 1972, mother Bridget (Power), and his wife Ada (Downey) in 2017. Left to mourn sisters: Muriel O'Bey (Bob), Suzanne Goodwin (Brian), Patricia Louisa (Renato), Carol Magee (Russ) and Peg Sehemar (Charlie); brother, Gerald (Chris); sister-in-law Jean Hafey (John deceased); special friends: Scherry, Rhonda and Susan Reid; many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Cancer Clinic, especially Dr. Rorke, Dr. Kamran, Dr. Avery for their excellent care. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral service to celebrate the lives of both Ada and John will take place on Thursday November 2 at 12 Noon from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
