Chris passed away as the result of a tragic accident on October 29, 2017, while doing what he loved to do most, riding his Quad. Pre-deceased by his dad Thomas Lahey. Left to mourn with broken hearts are his mom and step-dad Theresa and Arch Durdle, his dear brother Rick Lahey, his wife Melissa and their children, Chris' much loved nieces Hope, Tenee and Tenille, step-brothers Reg Durdle (Hannah and Olivia), Gary (Carolyn), Hailey, special friends Joan Pearle and her family and his best bud Cory Butler and his family as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends. Visitation at Pendergast's Funeral Home on November 1, 2017 from 1-5 and 7-9. Mass of Christian burial to take place at St Michael's Church on Bell Island at 10 AM on Thursday, November 2 with reception at St Michael's Hall following the Mass. A private inunrment to take place Friday, November 3 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in St. John's where his remains will rest with his dad. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bell Island Food Bank or to Red Cross.
