BOUDREAU, LAURIE - Laurie Boudreau, 87, of Shediac passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton with his family by his side following a lengthy illness. Born July 29, 1923 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Venant and Mélina (Thibodeau) Boudreau. He was a carpenter prior to retirement. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 64 years, Lorraine (Ouellette) Boudreau, two daughters: Rachel Poirier (Norbert) of Shediac Cape and Linda LeBlanc (Paul) of Shediac Bridge; three sons: Marcel (Suzanne) of Dieppe, Donald (Rachel) and Paul both of Shediac; three sisters: Thérèse Léger (Yvon) and Lorraine Gallant (Emery) both of Grand Barachois, Simone Lirette of Ohio; seven grandchildren: Chantal, Patrice, Lynne, Lisa, Philippe, Justin and Isabelle; four great grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by a grandson Marc LeBlanc, four sisters: Flora, Marie-Anne, Marguerite and Bertha and by two brothers: Clarence and Ovila.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac, N.B. E4P 2G1 (532-3297) on Wednesday, April 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. ONLY.
