Passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the age of 63. Following a brief but brave battle with cancer, Jim left this world to be with his beloved wife Marion. He is also predeceased by his parents Mary and James Fleming and his brother Gerald. Leaving behind to treasure his memory are his son James, daughters Annette (Larry Wiebe) and Kelly (Dino) Santuccione; Jim’s three beautiful grandchildren, Zachary, Liam and Julia Rose, will all miss their poppy. Brothers Tom (Louise), Kevin (Eileen), Julian (Madonna), Patrick (Lucy) and Mike (Melva); sisters Clarice (Wayne) Payne, Margaret (Russ), Elaine (Tom) Molloy, Sophie (John) Walsh, and Marie (Ray) Anthony. Jim always loved a cup of tea, a good meal and a good joke. He was a very social person who touched many lives and will be missed by a large circle of family and friends. A Special thank you to the caring staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and the staff at the Health Science Centre 5 North B. Also, many thanks to all Dad’s family and close friends who were there for him throughout his mourning and illness. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 12th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
