The death occurred peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, November 3, 2017 of Kevin Joseph Gaudet of Kinkora, aged 65 years. Son of the late Joseph and Edna (Gallant) Gaudet; survived by his beloved wife Margaret (Leard) Gaudet; his sons, Adam (Tracy) and Michael (Amanda); mother-in law Annie Leard (MacDonald); adored “Grampie” of Alex, Bridget and Mason, and loving “Binky” to Jude and Silas. Brother to Noreen (Leo) Pineau, Claude (Eileen), Gordon (Helen), step-brother, Louie Perry; sister-in-law Sharon Rose; brother-in-law Donald (Maureen) Leard and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by step-father Edward J. Perry; father-in-law Eldon Leard; brother Nelson and brother-in-law, Reg Rose. Visitation at Kinkora Place, Kinkora on Monday, November 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7 at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora at 10 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
